Default Download Prefab "savvy shopper" Cookies for "Preferential Pricing" Sites?

Any website that provides prefab cookies that look like the 'surfer' has comparison-
shopped a lot already?

I haven't read much about this strategy, but I wonder if this *really* can induce certain
shopping sites to give better prices?

If using IE, then maybe the discriminatory pricing sites scan the \cookies\index.dat for
shopping site domains?

some of these search words were better than others
Dynamic Variable Pricing Discriminatory-Pricing
Cookies Shopping Sites -Bot
Almost useless:
Preferential Download Comparison
