Default Download Prefab "savvy shopper" Cookies for "Preferential Pricing" Sites?

Any website that provides prefab cookies that look like the 'surfer' has comparison-
shopped a lot already?
The idea is to "preload" your computer with "savvy" cookies
I haven't read much about this strategy, but I wonder if this *really* can induce certain
shopping sites to give better prices?

If using IE, then maybe the discriminatory pricing sites scan the \cookies\index.dat for
shopping site domains?
